The journey of a thousand miles

Actually thousands of miles, whew! What a journey! :D
It started at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, head to Hong Kong. I used China Airlines. Heck, the stewardesses (flight attendants, red.) are vewwy vewwy beautiful hwhahwahwh :P Estimated time: 6 hours.

Quick update: gue udah sampai di Iowa.

I'm currently waiting for my laptop purchase to arrive, and I'm just too lazy to write a long story in public's computer, jadi cerita2nya ditunggu setelah laptopnya sampai aja yah :) Sorry for the wait :P

Anyway, I'm having a test tomorrow, wish me luck because if I fail, I'm gonna get home sooner than I'm supposed to be... JANGAN LAHHHHHHHH ~.~

Well, here we go...

We will depart tomorrow @ 6.35 am local time, will probably arrive @10.35 am local time. Wish us luck! :)

2 Menit Cukup

On my post before this, I put list of documents that I'm suggested to bring to the visa interview.
These are the documents that are really used.

1. I-20 Form
2. DS-156, DS-157, DS-158 Form
3. Passport
4. Bank Statement (Mandiri + BNI)

That's all. The interview itself lasted for ~2 minutes for me. No evil-gaze from the visa interviewer, no unexplainable rejection of visa.
Bah, padahal sudah berdebar2 ketakutan awak gara2 cerita orang soal ngambil visa ~.~ Yang lama itu nunggu diwawancaranya... banyak beut orangnya...

The bad: We're not crazy about the wider body, the smaller scroll wheel, the lack of video output, and the average-sounding audio quality.

The EQs aren't that spectacular but certainly better than the iPod's wimpy EQs.

See?? I've told you that iPod's sound quality and EQs are suck! =)) It's just too bad that I bought it before reading the reviews on the net =.=;

Saya Dirampok!

Teman2, saya kemaren (sabtu) sore dirampok oleh beberapa orang di mal mangga2. HP juga diambil. Karena itu, untuk jaga2, bila ada permintaan uang apapun atas nama saya, JANGAN DITURUTI.
And, moral of the story, don't be too stupid and kind as I do. Which is travel alone and talk to strangers, and being panic. I learned it the hard way, but none of you should. Not only you lost your money and things, they also insulted your brain with crap stories which made me really want to ROFLMAO, but couldn't because they're staring at me OMGWTF -.-#
Tentang keadaan saya sekarang, cuma hidung yang agak bengkak abis ditendang kok, so I'm fine. Cuma kram otak aja karena terpaksa harus pura2 terlihat percaya dengan cerita2 mereka yang bego2 banget (untuk menghindarkan bengkak di tempat lain selain hidung tadi). Udah gitu prosesnya seharian lagi, acara sabtu banyak yang batal -.-#

Gmail: penggunaan dot di email tidak berpengaruh?

Ok, so I got this from a friend, and later on I try it myself, and it seems true.
Jadi sebenarnya di Gmail, email yang kita kirim akan tetap sampai kepada alamat yang dimaksud walaupun kita meletakkan titik di tempat yang tidak seharusnya.

Contoh:
email johndoe@gmail.com
akan menerima email yang dikirimkan kepada john.doe@gmail.com
atau kepada jo.hn.doe@gmail.com
dan sepertinya juga berlaku sebaliknya (john.doe@gmail.com akan menerima email kepada johndoe@gmail.com)

Pertukaran titik seperti ini tidak berlaku terhadap email provider lain (tested it with Yahoo!, zap! the mailer-daemon arrived xD)

Ada yang bisa menjelaskan tentang pemakaian titik ini?
